Red Bull is horrible sh*t in my books I would suggest a piece of fruit, when you have a crash like that but also some protein , Peanut butter and an apple, or a piece of (real ) cheese , fix the crash then the protein holds you so you don't crash again . I would change farriers too , as busy as mine is he always shows up , or calls if something changes Sherry Sikstromhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15739108723318002627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1551110757601242898.post-402037851205199472014-08-12T22:06:43.098-07:002014-08-12T22:06:43.098-07:00Is summer over yet?...I'm getting anxious to g...Is summer over yet?...I'm getting anxious to get back to AZ. I'm tellin ya...I just haven't gotten ANY riding done up here this summer. I need to get back there, where all I do is ride. LOL.

I also concur...Red Bull is Baaaadddd!!...as are ALL of those types of 'energy' drinks. A few years ago, I was having those hyperglycemic crashes too and did get my blood checked. Type 2 diabetes is prevalent in Natives when we get older, even if we aren't overweight. No diabetic problems, but that is when they found the Valley Fever. :-(. Anyway, I just started carrying a bag of hard candies around with me and that always helped. Jolly Ranchers and Lemon Drops are my faves. :-)BrownEyed Cowgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03610547057139295854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1551110757601242898.post-54919702982540956062014-08-12T16:50:53.808-07:002014-08-12T16:50:53.808-07:00Damn Blogger! Or know of him.... hmmmm For some reason the initials KH come to mind. Am I close? lol

Lately I've had one trying to get me to have him work on my horses. Um thanks but no. And not just no, but Ain't NO WAY in farking Hell NO! I've used him before and after jacking me around with a no call, no show-> he wants to offer his services? Sorry babe, but you blew it once, not going to give you the chance to do it again. I didn't even like his work then, why should I expect it to have changed or be any better now? Thanks but as much as I don't like trimming them myself, I would rather just trim them myself.
Cut-N-Jumphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10355349642284506192noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1551110757601242898.post-67663184766866936742014-08-11T15:55:15.623-07:002014-08-11T15:55:15.623-07:00Stay away from that Red Bull! Sorry to...Stay away from that Red Bull! Bad stuff.
Sorry to hear Melody is hurting, and I hope the BOT hock boots work. I have a BOT mini blanket (about the size of a saddle pad) that I roll up under my neck when I have a headache- it's the only thing that really works for my near-migraines.Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15454110560303310751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1551110757601242898.post-45799025898126893432014-08-11T15:27:52.279-07:002014-08-11T15:27:52.279-07:00My brother is hyperglycemic, and your symptoms sou...My brother is hyperglycemic, and your symptoms sound a lot like his.
I'm way too weak to go to an auction. I'd want to bring every hard luck horse home. It's heartbreaking.
Your new farrier sounds like a winner.Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13944121836337072178noreply@blogger.com
