Wow just got caught up on Sassy and wow sure does make a difference in her movement as well as her attitude, in the second video she really wants to move. Sounds like they just might work for her :)
thank you all for your support. It really is so cool to watch. I was watching her in the pasture yesterday and boy was she having fun. I think during the entire 30 min I saw her take one misstep, but our pasture is full of tundra type tufts of grass which are easy to trip over so it is not unusual to see any of them do that at least once. I can honestly say to anyone who has a horse that is not moving as well as they should be, to find yourself and ELPO trained farrier and let them use the boot on him or her. It allows your horse to tell you exactly where they hurt and what they need.
If you look at the first video, she is really landing on her toes in every stride. One of the things that causes navicular. In the 2nd video she is landing much more flat footed and taking the pressure off her toes. I would say that farrier did her a world of good!
