Blogger Thieves

Is anyone else having issues with blogger?

They have stolen my reading list!

It never shows me more than one post at a time from any blog.  I have to go through and click each link on my side bar in order to find new posts. This also requires me going through a lot of posts I have already read.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

  1. Sign up for feedly.com - it's lots nicer than the blogger interface.

  4. I think everyone is having the same problem - I am doing the same as you, the old one at a time. Hope they fix it, not sure what Feedly, mentioned above is, but believe I will look into it.

  5. YES! and it's so irritating. Guess I'll try feedly like those others are suggesting.

  6. Yeah, I started fighting with that yesterday and got Inoreader. I know that Google Reader will no longer be supported after July 1st, and I wonder if the Blogger dashboard reader uses that. The bummer is that there is no way that I could find to export the reading list from the Blogger dashboard reader in order to import it elsewhere, so I had to copy and paste URLs of the blogs I follow one by one.

  7. Haven't been online to post for a few days and haven't checked out any of the readers, but Blogger isn't letting me put up any pics. That's what is pissing me off with them at the moment. Also Google help is anything but.

  9. I thought they killed Google Reader a year ago.... I don't use the blogger reading list. I use the Windows Live Mail that came with my computer (I don't know what kind of computer you have, but if you have Windows 7 you should have this program). I don't use the email part, but there is a feeds part that is good for blogs. You have to use an RSS feed validator to put them into it though. I use this one http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi? You just put the blog address in there, hit validate, copy the new address and add it to Windows Live Mail with the new feed button. It's a pain in the butt getting started, but it's nice later and it's not dependent on Google so they can't shut it down on you like they did the old reader. I have trouble adding some blogs that don't have an RSS feed, but I keep trying and eventually they go in. That's the only irritating part about it. Good luck!
