Tom came by my office today and we discussed Danny and his issues with the cold, the upcoming weather, my trip out of town and all kinds of other stuff.
Bless his heart, he could tell that I am stressing over getting this barn done. I told him that if he would dump another load of dirt today I would spread it out tomorrow and Saturday, even though it is supposed to snow those two days. That way we could start setting poles on Sunday.
He came back after lunch and told me that he got the dirt dropped and spread out and was on his way to get the poles. He really is a good good man.
We had planned on using the roller to compact the dirt. I think I will just wet it real good. It seems to work just fine.
I am glad to have this good good man in my life.
